I love buttons

Why do I get the best feeling when I pour a bag of buttons out on a surface and search for the perfect combinations....there is not much better than new buttons! Look all my fun pairings!

And new fabric - my bff and I got to go to my FAVORITE fabric shop in Asheville and shop for fun new fabrics - here is a photo!

Note to my readers - photos were taken with my camera phone..but I still thought they were fun enough to share!

XOXO ♥

Die Cut

So I know i have already posted today - but I thought I would share with you a little project I am doing - makings stickers of my logo!

So I went and picked up my die from one printing company to another printing company to print my stickers.

I had never seen a die before - and in case you hadn't either...I took pictures of it, because well I am a nerd :)

Here goes

Thanks Stevaker again for the design!

Sabrina Ward Harrison

I am sure most of you know her work...I have been a fan of Sabrina Ward Harrison for years - I even plastered my old studio walls with pages from her books - she is so inspirational to me - I found this little clip of hers and just love this quote and need to live by it.

Wanted to share it with you

Because for some reason my links aren't working - here is the link to her website:

Country Living

Crafting a business - I saw an ad for this book in my Country Living magazine (one of my all time favorites) and was intrigued by it. Then I was on my "friend" Lisa Norris website made by one girl and saw that she was featured in this book. How exciting - I have known about Lisa since her early days owning Spoon Fed here in Chattanooga. Now she is an amazing local artist that everyone needs to check out.

So I went on Amazon to buy this book - and it is sold out! But I ordered so that when it comes in - it will be mine! I can't wait - I am getting so much inspiration to keep going with my work from other crafters! Currently I am reading Craft, Inc. and it is really teaching me a lot about this craft world. I would highly recommend it! You will love it.

just a start....

So for my niece's 2nd birthday I thought what better time to try out a canvas. So I did get it finished in time for her party today - but I only took pics of the beginnings....so I will post the 2 pics I took from my camera phone and get back to you with pics of the finished product. But I thought it turned out great!

Here is a glimpse of what's to come :)

Bamaker

Several months ago I made a cute little onesie for my friends Steve and Shannon Hamaker - Steve is the fabulous designer that made my logo and website and the proud owner of Stevaker Designs

So with Stevaker in mind and before they knew the sex of there baby - they came up with Bamaker - Baby Hamaker. I thought they just had to have a onesie with that name on it!

So I came up with a onesie - well this week I was checking out the Hamakers photo session of Foy - when I was very proud to see the following:

These awesome photos are taken by Rich Smith Photography - be sure to check out his blog to see more of his fabulous photos. Thanks Rich for sending these my way and for taking such awesome pics of my onesie! And to Steve and Shannon thanks for letting Foy wear it for the photo shoot! I love you guys and look forward to seeing you guys soon!
